Twitter is a wonderful thing, isn't it? I stumbled across an RT that referenced a 30 Day Challenge hosted by Toni, and thought it might be a great way to get me back into the (almost) daily practice of blogging. So even though my One Little Word post had to do with a soundtrack of my life, I'm jumping into this challenge to tackle the subject of my favorite song.
Oh, if it were only that easy. ONE song? From me? That's like asking me to choose a favorite food, color or movie. Not possible to narrow it down to one. It depends on my mood, what's going on in life and a host of other things I doubt I can even put my finger on. Still, there are a few that have always been, and will always be, favorites. I've shared those here before, so I think I'll just go with more recent favorites. Random, perhaps, but that's how I roll
Hallelujah: Bon Jovi. I saw him in concert last year, and this took my breath away.
One and Only by Adele. In all honesty, it could have been any track on 21. Love.
Collide by Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow. They're magic together.
Must Be Doin' Something Right by Billy Currington. Talk about getting all warm and fuzzy.
Bottle It Up by Sara Bareilles. As with Adele, I could have easily listed most of her songs here.
And, just because it gets my head bobbing and makes me dance while I drive, Eric Church. Who doesn't want a little more right, a little less left?
